- Return Period At Sturdica, we offer a straightforward 30-day return window. This means customers have 30 days from the delivery date to initiate a return request.
- Return Eligibility For a return to be considered:
- All return requests must be pre-approved by our Customer Service team
- Products must be returned in their original condition
- All original accessories and packaging must be included
- A valid proof of purchase must be provided
Return Shipping Costs:
- Customer-initiated returns: Shipping costs are the customer's responsibility
- Defective/incorrect items: HustleAndBeans covers return shipping costs
- Refund amount will reflect any deduction of shipping fees where applicable
Important: Items returned with damage or missing components (unless due to our error) may only qualify for partial refunds.

The story of Sturdica began with a simple observation and a heartfelt concern. Our founder, Michael, watched as his grandfather—once fiercely independent—gradually became hesitant to venture outside alone. Despite using a traditional cane, the fear of falling without anyone nearby to help had begun to limit his world.
"What if his walking aid could do more?" Michael wondered. "What if it could provide both physical support and peace of mind?"
That question sparked our mission. In 2018, we assembled a team of engineers, healthcare professionals, and seniors to reimagine what a walking cane could be. We spent countless hours observing how people interact with mobility aids, listening to their frustrations, and understanding their needs. The message was clear: seniors wanted to maintain their independence without sacrificing safety.
After two years of development and testing, the first Sturdica smart cane was born—combining traditional support with innovative technology designed specifically for active aging. We integrated fall detection systems that could actually differentiate between a cane being set down and a genuine fall. We added bright lighting for evening walks and emergency alert capabilities for instant communication.
But technology alone wasn't enough. We also focused on creating a cane that people would be proud to use. With sleek design, comfortable ergonomics, and dignified aesthetics, we ensured Sturdica would be an extension of independence, not a symbol of limitation.
Today, thousands of seniors walk confidently with Sturdica by their side. We've received letters from customers sharing stories of renewed freedom—from neighborhood strolls to family vacations that might otherwise have seemed impossible.
